DOWN TO THE SEA



I love watching ocean waves smashing against rocks. The sounds are as good as the view! Spray fills the air as the wind hits you in the face, reminding you that you are witnessing a brilliant example of God's creation.
In Tasmania we have some of the best beaches in the world, and that's just not my opinion!
Walking such wild beaches clears the mind and is great exercise!
I have produced a series of photos from Beer Barrel Beach, Tasmania, that I intend printing and displaying in June. All of my work will be "one-off" prints, to maintain their value and uniqueness.

WHY TAKE PHOTOS?




I'm always taking photos as part of the research I do for my art. I work in coloured pencils, but seeing how many photos I take each year, I thought I'd start a new blog and show some of my work and talk about it.
I hope you like what I show!
Today's featured photo is from Beer Barrel Beach, on the East coast of Tasmania, Australia. I am working on a collection of 'wave' photos for an exhibition in June.
