CHESHUNT BUILDING

Yesterday I drove out to Cheshunt, the farming property that has been a great source of inspiration for some of my artwork.
Over the next few days I shall post some of the images that I took including part of a series of abstracts that have resulted from my excursion.

This image contains a lot of positive and negative shapes, don't you think?

MEMORIES

I first visited Cheshunt, a farming property in Tasmania's Meander Valley some 20 years ago when this building was in its prime.
Earlier in the year I paid the farm another visit and photographed the building for a second time, and captured a very different structure that had seen better days.
From an artist's point of view i think it makes for an even better subject!
