CONCRETE BLOCK ABSTRACTS

There are numerous huge concrete blocks in the breakwaters (2) at Coffs Harbour, NSW. They contain some interesting abstract patterns.

ABSTRACT GROUND

I am currently working on a series of abstract drawings that are based on photos I took of footpaths at Hobart's waterfront.

ABSTRACT IDEAS

This week I have been working on a religious drawing and for something completely different, a series of small abstract works. I enjoy this 'break' from my more serious pieces. I have completed 5 and have already posted a few on my artblog (http://artkleko.wordpress.com).
Today's post is a series of ways of looking at a rock pattern. Natural patterns are my main source for my abstract pieces. Some end up as drawings, others as paintings while a few are drawn up and coloured on my IMac.
