A WALK IN HOBART 1.

I recently spent 5 days in Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania. On the first day I took a walk from where I was staying (The Mantra) to the dockside area and back.

CHILLAGOE HILLSIDE

This hillside at the old Chillagoe smelters is composed of brick from the original smelters and natural rock.
This image will be part of a large drawing that I plan to compose next year when I return to Tasmania.
I am keen to enter it in a major art award, providing that I consider the final product a success.

COTTAGE INTERIOR

I want to re-visit this cottage at Cheshunt. It has so much to offer in the form of subject material.

OLD FIREPLACE

This very old fireplace that I came across in an old farm building gives another meaning to the term, "open fireplace", don't you think?
