TASMANIA'S MIDLANDS

Over the past 2 weeks I have completed 5 pastel paintings that feature Tasmania's Midlands area. You can see these paintings on my artblog (artkleko.wordpress.com) on Friday.
Today I have included some of the photos I have been working with.

CENTRAL AUSTRALIA 1.

I've just returned from a trip to Central Australia where I took about 1,000 photos and visited some remarkable sights. Over the next couple of weeks I'll share some photos with you.
Today's selection was taken from a bus travelling at 100 kph,  past the Eastern and Western Macdonnell Ranges, and I apologise for any irregularities in the images.

DARWIN ABSTRACTS 1.

This is the first in a series of images that have great 'abstract' appeal. The images were cropped from photos taken on my recent trip to Darwin.
