THE NORTH ESK RIVER

The North Esk River's source is in the North East highlands and it winds its way through valleys and farmland to join the Tamar River at Launceston in the North of Tasmania.

It is a very attractive river and offers much for fishermen and artists alike.

This view of the river was taken from a bridge near Corra Linn, a popular picnic spot very close to Launceston.
