Floods are fascinating events when they occur. Fortunately we don't have many here in Launceston. This flood is the biggest for 50 years and came as a result of heavy rain falling on Tasmania's East Coast and Eastern Highlands.
I took today's images at the Cataract Gorge. The noise and visual display made for a memorable and spectacular event!
