ABSTRACTS FROM CHESHUNT 1.

Following my recent art class at the historic farming property Cheshunt, I have produced a number of abstract images.
Today's featured photo comes from a section of a fuel drum.

ABSTRACT

I was rather taken with this pattern that I have featured today on a rock that I photographed last Sunday in the snow. It's strange seeing such a strong red on a rock in Winter. Mind you, this is Tasmania!

TEXTURED ROCKS 2.

Today's image is another from the Lake St. Clair area and there's a nice balance in this composition.

ROCK FACE

I took this photo in the Cataract Gorge, Launceston and was fascinated with the two strands of grass that pass through the middle of the composition. The pattern on the rock is quite abstract.
Overall, I think this photo would make an excellent painting. What do you think?
