ESKLEIGH VIEW

On Saturday March 16, I spent the morning drawing at the Eskleigh property, about 20 klms south of Launceston. The aim was to produce some artwork that I could scan on my computer, simplify, then add colour.

THE MAJOR ADDITION

Today's photo is the landscape addition that I mentioned in yesterday's post. I shall give it a much warmer light when I draw it.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT

Following yesterday's photo I thought that it would be appropriate that today I show you the drawing that resulted from my "rat trap research".

This drawing won an art prize last year.

RELIGIOUS ART Part 3.

Today's photo is one of my versions of England's famous 'Stonehenge'. 'Loghenge' is a symbolic representation with an emphasis on re-birth and renewal. In other words, a 'Resurrection' theme. I have included an example (drawing) that I did as a result.

EXHIBITION INVITATION

Today's post is about photographing artwork and jewellery for an exhibition.

This exhibition was held a few years ago and was quite successful.

I designed and printed the invitation which involved taking images of three dimensional objects and the 'flatter' drawings on paper. The size of the invitation was such that it wasn't a difficult task to undertake.

It's quite interesting seeing one's work in miniature!
