I photographed these sticks that were poking up out of the sand at Ellis Beach. The surrounding area was simply sand, and the simplicity of this small group caught my eye.

Last Saturday I photographed some rocks on my way home after a successful trip to Burnie (see artkleko.wordpress.com   Septe. 28th).
Although at first they look rather plain, these rocks would make an interesting drawing.
I quite like the arrangement, particularly the centrally placed stick.

I photographed this composition as a horizontal, but prefer it as a vertical.

I like the way that the piece of wood across the centre divides the image into two roughly equal sections.

While searching for a particular photo I came across today's featured image from Baker's Beach in Northern Tasmania. It's amazing how many shells there are in this image!

This photo from the southern shores of Lake St. Clair on Tasmania's Central Plateau, is one of my favourites. It has provided me with the inspiration for several drawings, one of which won a major art prize two years ago.
