NATURAL CATHEDRALS

Examples of the rainforest at Port Macquarie, Australia. Such spiritual places, once visited, never forgotten.

TROPICAL RAINFOREST

I like the positive and negative areas of black and white images.
I took this photo in Cairns, Far North Queensland.

LEAVES

With a little "tweaking" this photo taken in a cool temperate rainforest looks quite two-dimensional.
I'm impressed by the marks on the leaves, they add an abstract quality to the image.

FOREST FLOOR 2.

Today's photo is another from the rainforest near Lake Barrington, Tasmania. When I took this image the forest floor was very dry, unlike the forest near Mossman, which was wet and humid!

MOSSMAN RAINFOREST FLOOR

I love Far North Queensland, especially the areas of tropical rainforest. Today's photo comes from an area near Mossman. As you can see, I've done a little 'tweaking' with this image.
