AN OLD DOOR

This detail from an old door at Cheshunt is a wonderful example of natural and man-made graffiti.

CHESHUNT DOOR

This Friday I am conducting an art workshop at the historic property Cheshunt, in Northern Tasmania.
This particular door features in one of my drawings.

THE OPEN DOOR

Today I have been working on an idea for a coloured pencil drawing. It features a mug that has been left on a table in an old farm building.
I particularly like the shaft of light coming from a crack in the rear wall and the graffiti on the door.
This drawing will be quite a challenge. I will need to make it large (80 x 60 cm) in order to show the marks on the door and the detail in the room.
